Multigenre Montana-based writer

Raised in rural Minnesota, Shan now lives in Missoula, MT after a six year stint in NYC. She is currently at work on two novels, a poetry chapbook, and several short stories. Her writing has been published in the Hyphen Magazine, Full House Literary, BigCityLit, and (un)common sense. Growing up mixed race and queer in the Midwest, Shan often found herself inhabiting liminal spaces. She seeks to explore and examine experiences of liminality and transmutation in her writing across genres.
